Not only did we find the absolute minimum number of errors (only one that I know of), but the adherence to standards was outstanding as well. Our first merge and execution occurred within 30 minutes of all code receipt, and no patching was needed to make it integrate and work.Additionally, we had to train our maintenance team today on our new methodology. Our on-site developer ran late, so Alex had to field very tough questions from several maintenance team members--including a Lead and the Director--who are somewhat reluctant to move to a new method. In reality, it probably is easier just to smack SQL in-line rather than via tiers in the short term. Of course we all know in the long-run the mishmash that creates is much MORE difficult to maintain, and those were the types of questions Alex fielded absolutely perfectly and by the end of the meeting, we had a fairly decent buy-in to our approach. I hardly had to bat for him at all. I'm so happy with this team! Let me tell you, I'm not easily impressed and I've never worked with an offshore team that performed as well as this one has."
